Hello Moiraann,
Just to clarify.
Short Course racers will not run the orienteering course, so you won't need the fancier orienteering compass.
But, for your own safety, all teams, short course or long course, are required to have some sort of compass with you at all times.

| Moira- You need 1 team first-aid kit. For a 2 person team, you need 1 compass, 4 person teams need 2 compasses. Hope this clarifies. Mike |

Just to clarify--we only need one first aid kit that just one team member will carry the entire time, correct? If this is the case, I guess I am wondering why everyone would need either a backpack/fannypack on them??
If we are doing the short course, do we still need the compass?
