One of the intriguing facets of an adventure race, is the unknown. I understand everyone wanting to know all they can know going into the race. I personally look at the equiptment list and that's all I want to know. I hope too much is not revealed on the website. Let it be found out on race day. If you want to gain an advantage, bring extra gear. I want to find out when we reach an obstacle how to overcome it. If we don't have the proper gear, we will adapt and overcome. The less we know about it in advance, the more exciting it is when you get to it. That's why it's called and "adventure" race.
